Earth Day Event! Volunteers for Wildlife: Human Impact on Long Island's Wildlife

In recognition of "Earth Day," we welcome Volunteers for Wildlife, Inc., a nonprofit wildlife hospital and education center dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of Long Island's wildlife and natural ecosystems. Located on the grounds of Bailey Arboretum in Locust Valley, NY, they accept nearly 2,000 animals in need of care each year, including songbirds, waterfowl, small mammals, raptors, reptiles and amphibians. Learn about the human impact on Long Island's wildlife, current projects, tips for rescuing animals, and volunteer opportunities. You may also meet some animal ambassadors. Registration required. Open to all.
