For over 35 years,

the Huntington Public Library (HPL) has been a part of Candid’s (formerly known as the Foundation Center) Funding Information Network. If you represent a non-profit organization seeking funding support, or are a student, artist or researcher seeking grant support for your endeavors…read on!

As a member of Candid’s nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies, HPL provides visitors with access to a core collection of Candid’s publications and databases as well as a variety of supplementary materials and services in areas useful to grantseekers. At our location, you can access the Foundation Directory Online (FDO) Professional and Grants to Individuals databases and other resources to assist and strengthen your nonprofit organization.

During the Covid pandemic, the library is temporarily providing remote access to the FDO Essentials database. FDO Essentials allows nonprofits to search for funding and foundation information on over 200,000 grantmakers.
