The Great Playdate is a countywide early learning initiative created by the Public Libraries of Suffolk County and the Suffolk Cooperative Library System. This is a special day for our youngest patrons and their caregivers to come to the library and enjoy making crafts, playing games and much more! All activities are geared towards talking, singing, reading, and, of course, playing! Please register in advance using the program codes provided.

The Great Give Back is a community service initiative involving all Suffolk County libraries. The mission is to provide opportunities for the patrons of our libraries to participate in meaningful experiences as a way to give back to their communities.
Please join us during the month of October when we'll be collecting NEW socks for people in shelters and/or veteran homes. The socks can be for children or adults. There will be collection boxes in both of our buildings. Visit Youth & Parent Services to make craft packets for children in Huntington Hospital.
