Join webcomic creator, Ngozi Ukazu, in conversation with local cartoonist Greg Fox as they discuss the success of her phenom webcomic, Check, Please!, and the challenges of creating LGBTQ+ content in a changing world. Both volumes of the first and second print editions of Check, Please! and copies of Greg’s selfpublished Kyle’s Bed & Breakfast collections will be available to purchase from the Friends of the Library. Book signing to follow.

Calling all aspiring writers! Published author Terry Tomasino will be leading this fun and exciting Writers Workshop Series. Weekly sessions will incorporate guided imagery and other exercises into poetry, short stories and other written works to encourage young writers to explore and express themselves in written form.   Registration required.
