This twice weekly Tai Chi class is led by a certified instructor from the Suffolk County Department of Health Services. Tai Chi practice helps older adults improve their balance and increase their confidence. Self-initiated movements include body weight shifting, unilateral weight bearing, trunk rotation, ankle sways, and coordinated eye-head-hand movements. Limited to patrons 60 years and older. Registration required. HPL cardholders only.
