Learn the fundamentals of the game of bridge with instructor and master bridge player Dr. Susan Fishbein in this introductory six week series. Students will participate in a virtual discussion, receive guided instruction and play virtual bridge to practice concepts and skills of the game. Dr. Fishbein is an accredited bridge instructor and certified online bridge teacher through the American Contract Bridge League. Participants must obtain their own copy of Bidding in the 21st Century, an ACBL publication, which is available widely online, both new and used. Registration is required. HPL cardholders only.

Restorative Yoga with Angela via Zoom

For this program, you’ll need two blocks (or books), a blanket (throw blanket) and a bolster (or a standard size pillow). We will explore postures that will allow your mind, body and spirit to find stillness and peace as we seek to release tightness, tension and discomfort found within. This practice enables deep relaxation as you release into poses for longer periods of time with the use of props to completely support you. Angela Williams-Jones has multiple Yoga certifications, Kundalini Training, Advanced Teacher Training is a Usui Reiki Master/Trainer. Registration is required. Open to all.  A Zoom link will be emailed to you before the first meeting.

It revitalizes your physical body, mind and spirit with movements that are fluid, zero impact, easy to learn and non-strenuous. Instructor Leslie Martin meets you wherever you are in your health and physical ability. Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Learn breath conditioning, modifications and techniques that will be taught while in restorative yoga postures. The class is appropriate for beginners as well as those with experience. Students are encouraged to have a mat, 3 blankets, 2 blocks, a belt or strap and a bolster or cushion. Registration is required. HPL cardholders only. Limit 24 patrons. 8 sessions, $40.00. Go to print.princh.com or install the Princh app for iOs or Android on your device and enter print ID # 103593 (Main printer) or 103594 (Station printer). Then upload files to be printed and select Pay at Desk. Printing costs are .10/BW; .25/Color. Enter your name and click order print. Call the Main Customer Service desk at 631-427-5165, the Station desk at 631-421-5053 or visit the library to schedule the pick-up of your printouts. Print jobs will be released and printed ONLY when you arrive ensuring the privacy of your documents.
